When I was little, and my mom picked out all my clothes, I didn’t have to worry about what I was wearing. I know some mornings I wake up, look in my closet, and feel clueless. I have tons of clothes and no idea what to wear. On days like those, I would wish I could just go back in time, but then I came up with a “Go-to Styles” system.
It’s super simple. I have three outfits for each season that I deem my “Go-to Styles”. Two must be “interchangeable”, so I can swap tops and bottoms if needed, and one dress. Each outfit is easy to “dress up” if I need to get a little fancy, or I can go for a more casual look. On days where I am in a fashion fog, I throw on one of my go-to styles if I can’t decide what to wear within 20 minutes, and I’m out the door.
For Fall, I selected three amazing outfits.
To do this right, you need to make sure you pick clothing that’s comfortable. Most of the time when I can’t decide what to wear, it’s because I’m going somewhere specific, or I have no idea what I’m doing that day at all. Either instance calls for comfort in my opinion. That’s why I always have jeans in my “go-to” picks. I picked white and medium wash denim because they are interchangeable with most tops I own.

I always include a dress for occasions that call for a less casual look. I try to select one that fits seasonal fashion trends.
